WELLINGTON CITY TRAMWAYS.
. * By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, August 29. The City Council, to-night, referred to the Tramways Committee an offer from Mr Archibald Hall for many years manager of the old horse trams, to lease the whole of the Council's electric tramways for twentv-one years. Mr Hall offers £40,000 per annum plus threepence per month per car ner mile for the supply of power.
