ARBITRATION COURT'S POWERS.
WORKERS' OPINIONS. (Post Correspondent.) CHRISTCHURCH, August 22. The workers of Christchurch express satisfaction with the decision of the Court of Appeal regarding the slaughtermen. Several of them were seen last evening, and they said they were glad that the point had been setled. "We are sure," they added, "that the result will be regarded as fair and satisfactory by a large majority of the workers. There are some who will be displeased but they are those who are spoiling for a strike, and they certainly do not represent the general body of workers. The way we look at the question is that if we break the law we must be punished."
