By Telegraph—Press Association.. AUCKLAND, August 22. The Court of Enquiry into . the Rotorua train accident formally openedgto-day and adjourned till tomorrow. Yesterday afternoon, Mr Beattie, Chief Mechanical Engineer, eave a demonstration with Westinghouse bi'akes in the railway goods yard. Mr Kettle, S.M., counsel and experts were present, and most exhaustive tests were made with the engines detached from the train and the train and engine linked. The demonstration occupied two hours.
