CARTERTON.
<From Our Owb Correspondent.) Monday. The Rev. Mr Ronaldson preached to large congregations at St. Mark's Anglican Church, on Sunday. Mr Ronaldson, who is 84 years of age, preached eloquent sermons at both services. The Hawke's Bay representative football team arrived by this afternoon's express. They play Wairarapa on the Showgrounds to-morrow. At a meeting of the Ball Committee of the Carterton Football Club, held on Saturday evening, it was reported that arrangements in connection with the bail to be held shortly were progressing satisfactorily, and an efficient orchestra had been engaged for the function. The Daletield Dairy Factory will re-open for the season on September 2nd.
