A FRENCH COMPLAINT. Received August 16, 8.36 a.m PARIS, August 15, A French destroyer has been sent to Larache to reassure Europeans. French newspapers complain that limitation to the instructions to Spanish troops in Morocco is creating a conflict of authority and a dual command.
RAISULI THREATENS. LONDON, August 15. The Daily Mail's Tangier correspondent reports that Raisuli, in an ultimatum to Mr Lowther, British Minister, threatens to remove Sir Harry Maclean to a distance unless his demands are instantly complied with.
