THE FEDERAL TARIFF. SYDNEY, August 16. The outcry against the tariff continues in various Stater-. At Hobart a meeting of commerci.,l men strongly protested against the tariff. Secession was in the air. Several speakers objected to Tasmania being butchered to make a Victorian holiday.
