MASTERTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

WORKS COMMITTEE. The Masterton Borough Works Committee met last evening, there being present: —Crs J. H. Pauling. Chairman, J. Prentice, A. Haughey, V/. Pragnell, and W. Morris. The Committee resolved to continue the culvert through in the newly widened parts of Dixon Street as at present, and form a temporary footpath. The Committee recommended that an elevator for the stone crusher be imported at a cost of £55; also that notice be given to Mrs Lowes to cut down the trees on her property abutting on Short Street.
