SOUTH AFRICAN WAR REFUNDS.
NATAL'S DECISION. Received August 3, 8.47 a.m. DURBAN, August 2. The Natal Government has decided not to request the Imperial GovernI merit to make many refunds in con- * hection with the South African war. (The Natal Government a few days ago complained that while the Transvaal war Contributions, amounting to thirty millions, has been waived, Natal's £700,000 has not been reduced, and £200,000 for rents and harbour dues has not been paid.)
