The plan of reserved seats for the Carreno recital, on the 7th instant, will be opened to-morrow, and in view of the celebrated pianist's immense success elsewhere, there is likely to be a brisk demand for seats. Besides being a remarkably forceful and dazzling player in bravura music Carreno is a great Beethoven exponent, and also excels in the poetic and romantic sphere. Madame Carreno is said to be a great student., of Chopin, and expresses in an eminent degree the characteristics with which the master was deeply imbued.
