STOCK MARKET.
MASTERTON STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Masterton stock sale as follows:—Stock came forward fully up to advertised numbers. The bulk of the entry in sheep consisted of ewes in lamb. Owners' reserves were, however, on the high side, and the bulk of the business had to be done privately. Few cattle were offered, and not much business was done:—We quote—Sheep—Best fat ewes 19s 7d, others 16s to 17s, fat ewes and wethers 17s sd, best ewes in lamb 22s 6d, others 20s, 18s 6d, 17s, 15s 6d, 15s 4d, down to 13s 9d, hoggets, woolly 12s to 14s Bd,shorn lis to 12s, cull hoggets 5s to 8s 6d. Cattle.—Springing heifers £3 17s 6d, weaners 235.
