MR JULIUS KNIGHT.
The box plans for the forthcoming visit of Mr Julius Knight will open, this morning, at Miss Rive's. Mr Knight is supported by an entirely new English dramatic company, whom he personally selected and to which is added some of Australia's cleverest and best known artists. The Masterton season is limited to two nights. On Thursday next "Raffles" (The Amateur Cracksman) will be staged, and on the second night "Brigadier Gerard." These productions were [selected by Mr Knight for the Australasian tour. Mr Knight, of course, plays the title role in both pieces. "Raffles" is said to be a strong drama, full of unexpected denouement and surprise, the whole providing a brisk and clever entertainment with much comedy. "Brigadier Gerard" is a new romantic drama by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
