He*r Elanger—-.who has announced the formation of a trust, with a capital of twenty million sterling, to combine theatrics! interests, in America, England and the Continent —states that the new theatrical syndicate will not be a merger of existing organisations, but for the purpose of acquiring vaudeville and legitimate theatres, to be conducted on American lines. She principal London managers tQeny participation in the ;trust.
