THE CONVICTION OF SCHMITZ. SCENES OF DELIGHT. Received July 11, 8.33 a.m. SAN FRANCISCO. July 10. There were scenes of chlight here at the conviction of Eugene Schmitz, ex-Mayor, on charges of corruption and fraud. The public a*-e impatiently waiting for the sentence of Abraham Ruef who it is believed privately assisted in the exposure of the "grafters."
