CLEARING SALE.

On the premises, Featherston, at 1 o'clock on Thursday, July 18th, and under instructions from Mr H. Willis, who is leaving the district, Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., will submit at auction the whole of his stock of stud Shropshire sheep, also crossbred sheep, cattle, and horses. The stud flock of Shropshires comprises 200 ewes in lamb, 80 ewe hoggets and 80 ram hoggets. The general flock consists of 300 crossbred ewes in lamb. There are thirty head of mixed cattle and three bulls, five heavy draught geldings, one mare in foal, and one draught filly, two thoroughbred fillies and two harness horses. In addition there is a varied list of implements, vehicles, and sundries. The auctioneers point out that this is an opportunity seldom offered to breeders of securing a share of a well-known stud of prizetakers.
