MYSTERIOUS FIRES ON WARSHIPS.
SERIOUS DAMAGE DONE: Received July 9, 9.11 a.m. . PARIS, July 8. A n ysterious fire occurred close to the magazine on the French battleship Hoche. This is the third accident of the kind at Toulon within a month. Also, during a trial cf the submarine Rubis a valve was left open, and some hundreds of thousands francs' worth of damage cone.
