Perks, M.P. for South Lincolnshire, is submitting to SirWilfrid Laurier, Premier'of Canada, a scheme for a ship canal extending from Georgian Bay, the northeastern portion of Lake Huron, through the three greai lakes and down the t Ottawa River to Montreal, on the St,. Lawrence. The cost of the ; undertaking will be twenty millions sterling. f
