CLEARING SALE Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., held a clearing sale of stock on account of Mr H. Cowin, -at Langdale, on Friday. There was a good attendance of buyers, and ['all lines changed hands at sound rates. Sheep were chiefly represented by shorn hoggets which sold from 12s 9d to 12s 10d, culls 7s to 9s 9d, empty ewes 10s, heifers in calf (40 in line) 50s, cows and calves (all counted) 20s, yearling steers and heifers 275, store cows 31s. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd.. report on their Eketahuna sale on Friday, sth inst., as follows- There was a fair yarding of sheep. No cattle in. Ewes in lamb 15s 2d, 18s Id, 18s lid, 20s 8d and 21s, cull ewes in lamb up to 13s Id, ewe lambs to 12s 3d, wether lambs to 12s 6d.
