CLEARING SALE.

Under instructions from the Trustees of the late Mr Hugh Welch, Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., will sell at the homestead, Opaki, at 11.30 a.m., on Friday, July 19th, the whole of the stock, implements, and household furniture. The stock comprises 600 2-tooth "Romney-Lincoln ewes in lamb to Lincoln rams, 150 picked ewe hoggets, and 12 Lincoln rams, six cows, and 11 head of mixed cattle. There are fourteen horses, including four draught mares in foal to Federation, four draught geldings, four foals, one hack and a child's pony. The implements are of the ordinary class necessary for the cultivation cf an up-to-date farm. The stock as a whole, and particularly the sheep, are stated to be a firstclass lot, the result of careful selection.
