Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Wellington, have received the following cable from London, dated • June 27th:—Sheep skins: Combing merino skins are higher by par to Jd; clothing, lower by Jdto|d; crossbred skins, lower by Jd to gd per lb. Frozen meat: Lamb, prices are at par to Jd per lb lower; mutton, lower by £d; frozen beef, market weaker. Butter: The Copenhagen official quotation is unchanged. The total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for the week ending the 22nd instant amounted to 83,000 cwt, as compared with 105,000 cwt. for the corresponding week of 1906. Tallow: Prices generally are lower by 6d per cwt. Hides, leather and basils: unchanged.
