UTILITY CLUB'S COMPETITION.

CHRISTCHURCH, June 24. The official renort for the week ended June 21st in connection with the Utility Poultry Club's third Egglaying Competition at Lincoln Collego shows that 980 eggs were laid during te week, an average of 2C4 per pen, bringing the total to date to 2,756. , . The best returns for the week were:—D. M. Peek's Black Orpingtons 34, J. Jackman's Silver Wyandottes 33, T. Kennedy's Silver Wvandottes 30. The highest totals are : J. Jackman's Silver Wyandotte3 140, W. Forrest's Black Orpingtons 135, H. Hawke's Silver Wyandottes 129, J. Tonge's White Leghorns 126, T. Kennedy's Silver Wyandottes 121.
