DRUIDS' LODGE.
The ordinary meeting of the Ston°henge Lodge, U.A.0.D., was held last evening. Bro. P. Holmes, A.D.. presiding over a large attendance. A V clearance was granted to Bro. Wilson. Two friends were proposed for membership, and four were initiated into the Order. Bro. Leper, P.A., , from Excelsior Lodge (Wellington) paid a fraternal visit, and was accorded the customary Lodge honours. Bro. D. A. Pickering, P.jD.P., presented Bro. A. O. Levien with a P.A. collar, he being the winner of the trophy presented to the member introducing the greatest number of new members for the past six months. After the business of the Lodge had been transacted, a social was held. There was a large attendance, and a very enjoyable time was spent. The following toasts were honoured: —"The King and Druids," the Chairman; "Grand Lodge," proposed by Bro. E. H. Waddington, responded to by Bro. D. A. Pickering; Officers of the Lodge," Bro. W. Gourlay— Bros. P. Holmes, L. Prentice and G. A. Hood; "Absent Brothers," Bro. E. Pragnell-Bro. J. G. Miller; "The Ladies," Bros. R. Smith—Bro. B. Potter; "The Press," Bro. G. A. Hood. Musical items were rendered by Messrs G. A. Hood, N. McEwen, R. Wallace, P. Wallace, R. Jenkins, T. Waterson, and W. Gourlay. The gathering concluded with the singing I of "Auld Lang Syne."
