UTILITY CLUB'S COMPETITION. By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, June 17. The following is the result of the third Egg-laying Competition at Lincoln College, under the auspices of the Utility Poultry Club, for the week ended June 14thTotal number of eggs laid to date, 2,77G; total for the we,6k, 967. The following are the best aggregates for the week: —W. Forrest's Black Orpingtons 33, J. Jackman's Silver Wyandottes 32, J. Large's White Leghorns 30, A. W. V. Clarke's Silver Wyandottes 30. The best totals to date are as follow:—J. Large's White Leghorns 108, W. Forrest's B>ack Orpingtons 108, J.packman's Silver Wyandottes 107, H. Hawke's Silver Wyandottes 107.
