By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, June 17. The Hon. Mr Paui, M.L.C., having enquired whether sweated goods produced under revolting conditions, and at a starving wage are being sold in competition with the product of reputable firms, the Minister for Labour replies that the statement made in the catalogue of the sweated industries exhibit is absolutely correct, as Mr Tregear says he is assured on the authority of importers that articles of similar character to those in the exhibit have been, and are being, imported into this colony.
