PALMERSTON NORTH SUPREME COURT.

♦ By Telegraph—Special to Age. PALMERSTON N., June 13. The case, in which Luther Martin Murray was charged with cattlestealing at Dannevirke, was heard to-day. Mr Loughnan appeared for this prosecution, and Mr C. A. Pownall, of Masterton, for the defence. The case for the prosecution broke down under cross-examinaiton. The judge directed the jury to acquit the accused. The jury brought in a verdict of not guilty, and the accused was discharged.
