(Licenses to perform "The Mikado" were recently withdrawn by. the Lord Chamberlain, presumably out of regard for the feelings of Prince Fushima, the Japanese-En-voy.) (This step is no doubt taken in order to comply with the new Customs regulations in America, which simplify administrative difficulties by accepting certificates of value from Cambers of Commerce, if they arebacked by their Governments.)
