WEDDING.
- BUICK—BREEN. - A quiet wedding was solemnised at the residence of Mr A. E. Miles, Cornwall Street, Master ton. yesterday morning, the contracting parties being Miss Alicia Mary Breen, eldest daughter of the late Mr A. J. Breen, of Reefton, and well-known in Masterton, and Mr Frank Buick, youngest son of the late Mr W. H. Buick, of Akura. The bride was given away by Mr W. H. Bird, and was attired in a navy blue tailor-made costume, with hat to match. The bridesmaids were Misses Daisy Breen, sister of the bride, and R. McDavitt, both Of whom were attired in cream silk voile, with white velvet hats. Mr Joseph Whittaker was best man, and the marriage ceremony was performed by the Rev. Dean McKenna. A reception was subsequently held at Mr Miles' residence, at which the usual toasts were honoured, and good wishes extended to the newlywedded couple. A large number of handsome presents were received. Mr and Mrs Buick left by the afternoon train for Wanganui, where the honeymoon will be spent.
