O'NEILL'S BUCKJUMPERS.
Speaking of a Wellington performance by the, company, which will appear in Masterton on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings next, the Evening Post says:—"The tent where the daring O'Neills ride their fiery mustangs was again crowded on Saturday night, by an eager crowd, who were clearly on the lookout for fun and they got it. The show is novel and very exciting, while the amateur riding competition furnishes a>) opportunity for much laughter, and is the occasion for some humour on the part of those who remain on the wrong side of the fence. Other interesting items are the high-jumping mare "Ruby," the tricks of the clever pony "Sandow," and the daring riding of Miss Button and the Brothers O'Neill, while the lassoo work of Mexican Bill is strange enough to be almost startling. Though rain fell in torrents on Saturday, everybody and everything within the tent were amply protected, the canvas proving quite watertight." The box plan will open, this morning at Miss Rive's.
