O'NEILL'S BUCK-JUMPERS.

One of the most characteristic features in the amusement sectio#of the Ohristchurch International Exhibition, says a contemporary, was the exemplification of horsemanship given by the O'Neills, a family of equestrians and equestriennes _ who have beome famous for their skill in breaking and riding "outlaws." Mr Charles Macmahon has completed arrangements whereby the O'Neills will appear in Masterton on Tuesday and Wednesday next, supported by a large company of new, novel, and exciting feats of horsemanship and horse training. The company is a large one, including Mexican Bill, the lassoo manipulator, and Miss Button, said to be the champion lady rider of the colony (who will ride an unbroken buck-jumper), two clowns ana acrobats, new to New Zealand, and the Exhibition Champion Roughriders. Among the equine performers may be mentioned the pony "Sandow," "Charmer," "Silver Prince" who defies the efforts of two riders to mount him, '"lattersall," the "King of and "Ruby," the champion high jumping mare. The whole performance will take place in a comfortably - seated, brilliantly - lighted, waterproof tent. A prize of £1 will be offered to anyone who can ride one of the bucking horses for one minute.
