CLEARING SALE AT PONGAROA.
On Friday next at Kort>ra, Pongaroa, under instructions from Mr George Burling, Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., will hold a clearing sale of stock, implements and furniture. Mr Burling has disposed of his property, and the sale is being held on that account. The stock is noted for excellence in quality, and comprises about 500 sheep and over 100 head of cattle, including 39 first-class cows due to calve at factory dates. An cnt;y of two lines of ewes in lamb and 'M head of cattle will be offered on account of other vendors, and further entries are invited. Buyers from a distance can make arrangements with the auctioneers for conveyan.ee to the sale, which will commence at 12.30 p.m.
