ASHBURTON BAND CONTEST

ASHBURTON, May 31

The Committee of the Band Contest, to be held here on October 9th and 10th, have decided, to give prizes amounting to about £22U for the test selection. The amounts a re:—First £6O, second £3O, third £2O, fourth £lO. For the quickstep the first prize is £25, second £ls, third £lO, fourth £5. For quartettes and solos gold and silver medals will be awarded.,; Entries close on July 6th.
