RUSSIA.
A TRAIN ROBBED. GUARD AND DRIVER KILLED. Received May 30, 7.37 a.m. ST. PETERSBURG, May 27. Several men, armed with revolvers, boarded a moving train on the RigaOrel railway. They killed the guard and the driver, and wounded the cashier of the railway and robbed him of 40,000 roubles. The robbers finally escaped into a forest.
ESCAPE FROM PRISON. Received May 30, 8.48 a.m. ST. PETERSBURG, May 29. Twenty-one political and twenty ordinary prisoners, who were in the prison at Lublin, Poland, escaped through a sewer.
