FATAL ACCIDENT AT NELSON.

NELSON, May 28.
At the State River sluicing claim, at Collingwood, this morning, a falling rock smothered a man named Louis James, aged 24 years, second son of Mr Frank James, of Puramahoi, whose other son was killed in the Boer War, Efforts to extricate the victim were made, and ultimately his dead body was found.
