AN ANARCHIST EXPELLED
Received May 28, 8 a.m. COPENHAGEN, May 27. Nieziergh, a German anarchist, has been expelled from Denmark. He is credited with an intention to attempt the lives of foreign Sovereigns during their visit to the Danish Court in the summer. Received May 28, 8 a.m. PARIS, May 27. Petoff, a Nihilist, has entered Paris hospital suffering from the effects of a bomb which exploder! while he was making it. It is supposed that the bomb was intended to be used for the four Grand Dukes now in Paris, when they visit a Russian concert. FAILURE Oi\ COPPER MARKET. Received May 28, 8.44 a.m. LONDON, May 27. Hubert Brunton and Co., large dealers in the Rio Tinto copper market, are defaulters on the Stock Exchange. THE PORTSMOUTH MURDER. Received May 28, 9.55 a.m. HOBART, May 28. In connection with the Crump murder, it is significant that some time ago enquiries were made at the Registry Office, in the name of J. Langford, from Auckland, with regard to the marriage of Mr Moriarty with Mrs Crump, the murdered woman.
(Crump's name has been given as John Langford Crump, and he is represented as a settler of the Auckland district.)
