MASTERTON v. FEATHERSTON. The match Masterton v. Featherston, played at Featherston yester- ( day, was won by the former by eight matches to five in the men's match, and by four matches to nil in the ladies' match. In conjunction with the above match Miss E. Robieson played Mrs Saunders, the holder of the Bowl, and won as the above score indicates. At the conclusion of the match Mr A. J. Toogood, the (jpptain of the Featherston Club, in a few appropriate words, referred to the splendid play of both players, and then presented Miss Robieson with the challenge trophy. Miss Robieson is new the holder until beaten on the Mestertan links.
