PRETORIA MINERS' STRIKE.
VIOLENT SCENES. Received May 25, 12.4 a.m. , PRETORIA, May 24. The Rancl strikers attacked and stoned the police at the Ferreira Deep Mine and intimidated the workers into joining in the strike. There were violent scenes also at the Robinson Deep Mine. Four hundred Cameron Highlanders are now distributed in the East and two hundred of the Border Regiment in the West Rand.
