ROVER A v. ALBION
The Rover A Senior team defeated the Albion Seniors, on the Maftertyn Showgrounds, yesterday afternoon, by 42 points to nil. The game was very one-sided, as the score indicates, Rover scoring almost as they pleased. Mr A. Millar was referee.
The Masterton and Carterton Seniors wjdl meet on the Showgrounds on Saturday afternoon next. The following* is the Carterton team to play Masterton, at Masterton, to-morrow: —E. McKenzie, Thompson, Killop, Crawley, Groube, Wadham, Hall, Armstrong, Johnson, Mason, Bond, H. McKenzie, Mason, Henderson, and Groube. The following team has been selected to represent Masterton Seniors against Carterton, on the Showgrounds, on Saturday:— F. Green, B. V. Skeet, J. O'Leary, J. Duggan, W. Minett, D. K. Logan, A. uray, M. Riley, P. Barry, T. Fielding, C. Ross, J. P. Lyall, C. Mackellar, A. Ross, B. Chapman. Emergencies—Forward. Boddington; backs, Latimer. The following is the Red Star Junior, team to play the Ruahine Juniors, on the Showgrounds on Saturday next:—Smith, Kingdon, Easthope, Galyer, Ross, Welch, Robins, O'Brien, R. McKenzie, Ball, Dig gins, Tankersley, McHattie, Bannister and Flaws; emergencies, Hallett and Myers.
