FOOTBALL.
A match will be played on the Showgrounds, to-day, between the Albiona and Rover A. The selection committee of the Wairarapa Rugby Union will meet, at Masterton next Saturday, to pick the representative team to play at Wellington on June 3rd. The Wairarapa Rugby Union have nominated J. O'Leary (Masterton), Wrigley (Red Star), Todd (Red Star) and Gray (Masterton) for inclusion in the North Island team. The following team will represent the Ruahine Juniors against the Red Stars, at Masterton, on Saturday : Backs, Hawkins, N. Skeet. Jury, E. Skeet, Ta TaU, C. Bicknell; forwards, Webster, Beard, Playle, Olsen, 0. Skeet, Davis, L. Humphries, W. King and another. The following team has been selected to represent Masterton Juniors, against Martinborough,' at Greytown, on Saturday:—Phillips, Meredith, Cook, Harding, Jackson, Holmes, A. Daniell, Hanley, Lett, McMahon, Laing, Hounslow, Miller, McHattie, and J. Daniell. Emergencies—Selby and Spackman. The drag will leave White's at 1.15 o'clock sharp.
