Wool.—The following were the average prices realised for fleece portions of the following clips: — K'korangi 10£ d, Heme Huls lljd. Reid 13£ d. Australian wheat cargoes have sold from 32 6Jd to 335. Tallow.— At the auction sales 2,175 casks were offered, and 1.375 were sold. Mutton, fine 36s 6d, medium 24s 6d; best beef 35s 9d, medium 33s 6d. Received May 16, 10.29 a.m. LONDON, May 15. At the wool sales there is keen competition for crossbred at March rates. Merinos are at par to 5 per cent, above March prices.
