WANGANUI TRAINING NOTES. By Telegraph—Press Association. WANGANUI, May 16. A number of visiting horses arrived in connection with the' Wanganui Jockey Club's Winter Meeting, to be held next week. The weather is beautifully fine, and the track in •food order. Tangitu pu* in half-paco work. Ranigtoto was sent a couple
of rounds over the big fences, jumping splendidly. Barley did a solid round on the plough, finishing at a good pace.' St. Killian did useful work on the plough. Irish Rifle galloped a mile, and Le Vent covered a couple of circuits. Westward and Anecdote were restricted to slow work. Armistice and Anemone were associated in a mile gallop, the latter showing to most advantage. Te Kainui jumped a couple of hurdles. Sedgmoor and Lydia had a flutter over five furlongs, the latter going surprisingly well. Signor and Guiding Step did medium-paced work. j Lady Annie went amiss yesterday, [ and may not be able to start here.
