NATIVE LAND QUESTION.
By Association. AUCKLAND, May 15. The native land question was discussed at the conference of the Auckland Provincial Section of the New Zealand Farmers' Union, tc-day, and the following motion was carried: — "That the' Government be urged to effect . a speedy and satisfactory settlement of all native lands whereby tbey will pay rates and allow the country to be settled as it ought to be."
