Massey M.H.R., Lepder of the Opposition, visited Cheviot yesterday, at the invitation of a umber of the settlers in tbst district. He was met at Domett by Messrs T. Meikle (Chairman of the Cheviot Cornty Council), S. Smith (President of the Cheviot Settlers' Association), and a lumber of represe <ti>tive settlers, and spent the riiernoon driving round the district.
