Sir, —In reply to the' resolution passed by the Wellington Tailoresses and Pressers' Union, will you kindly , allow nie to say that, had I known this disinterested body was sufficiently well-informed to be able to s pass an opinion on the labour legislation of the world, I might have consulted it before claiming for business people and shop hands in the country the right to select their weekly halfholiday free from city restrictions.— Yours, etc., A.
