PERRY'S BIORAMA.
Perry's Biorama and Specialty Company commenced a two nights' season"at the Masterton Town Hall last night. There was a large attendance down stairs, but the circle was only moderately patronised. The cinematograph pictures comprised a large variety of excellent films, all new to a Masterton audience, and the scenes were remarkably free from flickeri "A trip through Paris" and "Lake Geneva" were particularly fine films, and met with the hearty approval of the audience. The comic films created roars of laughter, especially the "chase" pictures, "Lost! a leg of mutton!" being perhaps the best of this series. The "hit" of the evening was the singing of little Miss Jennie Purchase, a clever child who quite captivated the hearts, of the audience, and the latter showed their appreciation of her talent by giving her a double encore on each occasion that she appeared. This child has a remarkably well developed voice, which she used to the best advantage. Master Jimmie Rowland also met with a warm reception, his best number being the illustrated song, "I'm Trying So Hard to Forget You," for the rendering of which he was encored. To-night an entire change of programme will be submitted, and At.hos will give an exhibition of roller skating.
