A TRAIN IN DANGER.
KING EDWARD'S NARROW escape,
I deceived May 6, 8.32 a.tfi.PARIS, May 5.It has transpired that when Edward's train stopped at Sion, $ town in the valley of the Rhone, it was discovered that a grease box on one of the coaches had beco;r,e detached from the axle and had fallen off while the train was running at sixty miles an hour. Had the train started again a terrible accidaht must have occurred. The axle was white hot through friction. LONDON, May 5. The Daily Chronicle stated that when the grease-box was found, it was discovered that bolts and pins had been extricated. The paper states that it looks as if an attempt had been made to derail the train. LOjnDON, May 5. King Edward arrived in London after a rough passage. During his tour he travelled 4,930 miles.
