CORRESPONDENCE.

(To the Editor).. Sir,—l was very glad to' learn, from the words dropped at the hustings by Mr W. Pragnell that he intended putting in his spare time travelling round the roads of the Borough. I hope he will take a stroll up Cole Street, and look at the footpaths, especially on the southern side. He will have an ardent supporter, I know, from another new Councillor who resides in Cole StreetNothing has been done to the footpaths for some years, to my knowledge. I trust that he will be able to get something done to them at once, to put them into decent repair before the winter sets in;—l am,, etc., RESIDENT OF COLE STREET.
