—————• —i-———■ . LAWRENCE—EASTHOPE. At the Masterton Methodist Church; yesterday, Mr Gilbert J. Lawrence, of Masterton, son of Mr J. Lawrence, of England, was married to Miss Blanche I. Easthope, ■laughter of Mr W. M. Easthope, of Masterton. The bride was tastefully attired in i grey tailor-made costume, with !ace trimmings, and carried a shower jouquet. The bride was attended by ler sister, Miss Mary Easthope as oridesmaid. The latter Wore a smart n'eam serge costume with Eton coat and lace trimmings. She also carried a ouquet. Mr J. J*. Hopwell was best nan. The ceremony was performed ■>y the Rev. J. N. Buttle. A reception was subsequently held it the residence of the bride's arents, Bentley Street. The newlybedded couple received a large num>er of costly presents.
BUCHANAN-CAREY. Miss Carey, eldest daughter of rs Carey, of Lansdowne, was rnared to Mr J. W. Buchanan, of mwera, at the residence of her cother, Mr F. W. Carey, of Lansswno, yesterday morning. The cersmony was performed by je Rev. A. T. Thompson.
