PALMERSTON N„ April 25. For the second day of the Manawatu Racing Club's meeting there was excellent weather. The course was slightly heavy owing to rain falling during the night. The amount put through the totalisator during the day was £11,105. Results : Borough Handicap.-- Lady Annie 1, Kitchenmaid 2, Scotch Reel 3. Scratched—Golden Gate. Won by a head.
