Says a contemporary:— "Madame Arral has a great European and American reputation, and has created leading roles in many wellknown operas. While fulfilling an engagement at Imperial Theatre, St. Petersburg, she was decorated by the Czar of Russia with the Order of Oldenberg, and has also earned the decorations of the Order of Medjidie, presented to her by the Khedive of Egypt." The programme at Masterton will include the following : "Si J. Etais Roi," "Huguenots," "Faust," "Dinorah," "Romeo and Juliet," "Serenade de Gounod," "Manola," "Massinella," and selections from "Mignon." Madame Arral will also sing several English compositions. She will be supported by Herr Paans (violinist) and Signor Torzilli (harpist). The box plan and day sale will open this morning at Miss Rive's.
