ANDREW MACK.
Mr Andrew Mack, an Irish-Ameri-can actor of note in the United States, will make his debut at Masterton on M onday next, April 22nd, when he will appear with an American company in the new drama, "'Tom Moore." In this play, founded on the life of the Irish poet, Mr Mack, who has a voice of great sweetness and charm, will sing some of Moore's popular melodies. The plays of Mr Mack's repertoire do not present grotesque exaggerations of Irish mannerisms, but the romantic, pleasant, and poetic temperament of the well-bred natural Irishman as he really is. No doubt this refreshing change contributed—togetherwith the highly-acclaimed talents of .the artist and the merits of his supporting company—to the sensational success of his Australian tour two years ago, when he established a reputation which might be envied by any "star" of the present day. The Masterton season is limited to two nights. Box plans are now on view at Miss Rive's.
