THE BLENHEIM COMPETITION. By Telegraph—Press Association. BLENHEIM, April 13. The following are the results of the forty-eighth week of the Egglaying Competition:—Eggs laid during the week, 853; grand total, 94,031. The highest pens for the week were: —Sowman's Silver Wyandottes . 27, Brookes' White Leghorns 27, Alexandra Poultry Company's White Plymouth Rocks 24, Marlborough Hotel's White Leghorn 3 23. The leading pens to date are:— Brookes 1,361, A. and P. Association 1,256, Servajean 1,206, A. Thomson 1,188, Mrs J. ■ Hodson 1,152, (all White Leghorna).
